MY JOURNEY AS A CHILDRENS AUTHOR

My journey as a children’s author is inspired by my love for storytelling and my passion for nurturing young minds. With a background in pediatric occupational therapy and corporate human resources, I bring a unique perspective to my writing, blending empathy and creativity to craft stories that resonate deeply with children and their families.

My books explore universal themes of courage, kindness, and connection, presented through imaginative adventures that captivate young readers. I am passionate about celebrating diversity and fostering inclusion, ensuring that every child feels seen and valued in the worlds I create.

When I’m not writing, I love exploring Sydney with my husband, Brendan, our two children, Thomas and Isobel, and our lovable Labradoodle, Piper.

As a graduate of the Australian Writers’ Centre and a member of the Children’s Book Council of Australia, I am committed to creating stories that inspire joy, imagination, and a love of reading.
